In 1995, Ramy graduated college with both an English and Poli Sci degree and escaped Law School in his first year to become the COO for Indy Record Label, “Po Folk Records”. In 2 years, he grew the company into a profitable venture, which in 1998, he sold to Reprise Records (A Warner Music Subsidiary). A month later, Ramy founded and launched Namaste Entertainment, a Corporate Talent Buying Agency. In 6 months, he already landed clients like Pepsi, NFL, Disney, and IBM for his talent buying services.
In 2000, Ramy sold his company to a business cohort, and decided to put his musician hat back on. Over the next 7 years, he built a career as a successful Drummer, Writer, Producer, and Artist. Drum credits include Seal, Black Eyed Peas, Alexi Murdoch, and more. Commercial music co-writes include Apple, Wachovia, Honda, Hyundai, and more. Songwriting credits in shows like The OC, How I Met Your Mother, and in films like Matchstick Men, Run Fat Boy Run, and more. Band member signed 3 times to Major label deals with Hollywood Records (2000), Maverick Records (2003), and Mercury/Universal (2006).
In 2006 Ramy and his wife moved to Austin, Texas, where he spent almost 7 years with Gateway Church, spiritually and occupational investing in creatives throughout the city of Austin. It was during this time that What would become Rev1211 was Birthed. In 2013, Ramy returned to his entrepreneurial hat and went to work establishing CAG, a Artist development and managment company. CAG is dedicated to developing creative talent into career long success. With over 20 years of music industry experience and 10 years of pastoral leadership, CAG brings Spiritual and Career development for artists in the Music Industry.
In Jan. 2016 Ramy Founded a drum manufacturing company in Austin, Texas called A&F Drum Co. LLC. Ramy, his wife, and their two sons Live in Austin where he runs A&F and serves as Director of the board for Rev1211.
